  • Connect your HP printer to the network by means of USB or Ethernet cable. For direct connections, join a USB cable unswervingly from your printer to your computer.

  • Now click on the Apple menu and then tap on ‘Software Update…’ to install all the latest updates for your computer.

  • From the drop-down menu, click on the Apple menu and then tap ‘System Preferences…’.

  • Open ‘Print & Scan’ and then choose + button or tap on the lock button first and then enter your username and password.

  • From the list of options tap on the Add printer or scanner.

  • Choose your printer from the available list of printer and then click add.

  • Mac OS X will automatically download and install the most recent software and drivers for your printer.
